Butler Hospital Riverview Building
The Riverview Building at Butler Hospital in Providence was completed in the fall of 2013. As the hospital population grew, Butler found that it required a more efficient Patient Assessment Services (PAS) wing. The 48,000 s.f. structure includes an Emergency Room, Intake Area and Patient Treatment Area.
On the third floor a state of the art In-Patient Unit was constructed to treat patients with severe psychological problems. This new wing incorporates a light filled Dining and Activity space that has the feel of a residential great room. This wonderful light-filled space has a beautiful view of the Providence River. The third floor is currently unoccupied but the future plan calls for the addition of another In Patient Unit.
